This year’s December 10th marks 31 years since His Holiness the Dalai Lama was conferred the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize in 1989. To mark the 85th birthday of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) announced to dedicate this year as the “Year of Gratitude” of our spiritual leader and also urged Tibetans and our friends around the globe to initiate and take part in activities in their capacities to create awareness about the life and four commitments of His Holiness. Therefore, Gu-Chu-Sum Movement Association of Tibet is organizing a panel discussion on our ‘Gratitude to His Holiness the Dalai Lama’ on the joyous occasion of the 31st anniversary of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s conferment of the prestigious Nobel Peace to acknowledge with deep gratitude, the debt we owe to His Holiness, the greatest of all the Dalai Lamas and proudly celebrate his life and legacies; and also to commemorate Human Rights Day, the day the General Assembly of the UN adopted and proclaimed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on 10th December 1948. We are delighted to welcome you to kindly join us through our Facebook page on Wednesday, 10th December 2020, at 5:00 pm. Kindly refer to the schedule attached for a detailed overview of the program.
