China government vehemently declared that they would liberate nation from the chain of Covid-19 pandemic. But the promise is carried out with imposing relentlessly strict policy measures which brought more troubles on public and their living condition. Recently China’s most populated Shanghai city again came under Covid attack and was locked down for more than a month.
Report of a Chinese living in the Kyiv city of Ukraine says, people there able to consume on dry buffs and vegetables daily despite the nation under siege. Also the government of Romania aiding refugees and especially he was provided with Chinese food when he along with Ukraine people refuged in Romania. After few days later, he travelled back to China, but people travelled from foreign country including him were quarantined for 14 days in hotel with the provision of cheap water soaked noodle during three times of meal. On his return to home in Shanghai faced restrictions on going out of home for grocery shopping and without government’s help, he lived home in starvation.
According to the report of a Chinese from Canada was stuck in Shanghai during government’s strict command of Covid lockdown of city. His boarding flight for Canada was on 9th May and he went one day ahead to airport for confirmation, but the flight was cancelled government order. Thus, no plane can go out or come in which stopped foreign citizens from returning home. Many people including him already signed ‘no return document on leaving ’. When flights got cancelled, those people left with no where to go and some waited more than a week for the clearance.But the foreign people were permitted to go back to their country. There was no any means to get foods as if the nation is under war.
Report of a Chinese from Hongkong came at the end of March in Shanghai and proceeded on 14 days quarantine in hotel. Poor quality food in quarantined hotel wasn’t enough and began ordering meals from nearby restaurants. Few days later, all the shops and restaurants were closed due to Covid lockdown in Shanghai. Then he got no other way, but to get momo from momo delivery shop for high prize. Soon the quarantine ended and he decided to return back to Hongkong. Despite no avail of local transport services to reach Airport, he went on foot taking shorter route which leads through many places restricting outsiders in town and made barricades at entrance. To get an access through such places, he appealed and fed with money and forced to jump through fences until he took lots of bruises.
Many Chinese within different places of Shanghai facing difficulties under China government’s strict pandemic liberation policy. But government doesn’t guides and responds of their subjects call for help. Thus the political analysts concluded that, current condition of Shanghai may create further obstacles for Xi Jingping’s continual serving as President and better opportunities for oppositions aiming at president post.
