On the morning of 9th January 2021, Dr. Ashish Bhavre visited the Gu-Chu-Sum Movement Association of Tibet as part of his visit to Dharamshala.

Dr. Bhavre, a member of RSS and a scholar in Tibet studies was welcomed by the President of the organization Mr. Ngawang Trirel and Vice president Mr. Dawa Tashi at 10 am in morning. Following the greetings, we are able to introduce to him the aim and objectives of the organization and its contributions to the Tibetan struggle for freedom.

Mr. Bhavre showed keen interest in the current human rights situation in Tibet while also enquiring about the detailed personal experiences of hardship faced by Mr. Ngawang Trirel and Mr. Dawa Tashi respectively. The organization is delighted to have welcomed Mr. Bhavre to the organization and present to Mr. Bhavre a biography of Mr. Lobsang Tenzin, a Tibetan former political prisoner who spent more than 20 years in Chinese prisons.

Mr. Ashish Bhavre was visiting Dharamshala and different Tibetan institutions based in the area as part of his visit.
