Chinese spoke of America being rigid minded showing no concerns over Covid matter and an American replied of China showing concern only on Covid matter. But the China concern was for the political benefit instead of nation’s health and well being. China even putted an act of showing China as Covid free nation to the world regardless of them being the source of pandemic.
As China government managing the pandemic, victims seeking treatment in hospital were to acquires valid Covid lab report and needs to be approved from nearest office. Also the person must get treatment within their designated locality. Such policy leaded to the death of many people.
China’s one of most populated city Shanghai was under complete lock down when Covid cases were increased rapidly. China’s pandemic management policy takes action even on the Covid effected children of age 6yrs old and forced to stay quarantined. The anxious parents unaware of children’s quarantine place wrote letters and signed petition to government seeking permission to stay with their child. In return, the petition submitted were discarded without any reply. They even sought aid from local government officer, but they were helpless due to higher up’s restrictions. Shanghai people hoping aids from Covid prevention activist group, found them being an agent of China’s policy using Covid-19 for political purpose instead of working for health care and science.
Based on analyses, current Covid prevention scheme of CCP within Shanghai city is considered as most important means to be used for political beneficial. Since the Covid outbreak from Wuhan district in 2019, along with pandemic management policy ,Xi Jingping took the power and liberty of appointing officials. According to international news, found a record of 60,000 Covid-19 victim cases in China’s one of most populated and highest economic city, Shanghai.
Covid crises currently facing within Shanghai city may effect the Xi Jingping’s continues standings in coming 20th national assembly. Shanghai city claims to be origin place of Chinese Communist Party and the city where 1st National Assembly was held. Thus , the city holds a great importance in the history of Chinese government. Also the city houses many groups including successors of past leaders , Jiang Zemin’s Shanghai group and Communist Youth League group. Analyst regards that under the reign Jiang Zemin dwells one powerful group and an individual of great influence.
