As Tibetans all over the world exercise the right to elect the Central Tibetan Administration’s President and the members of Tibetan parliament in exile on Jan 3, 2021, a group of three staff members and two executive board members of the organization took part in the general election duty per the directives of the local election commission and the settlement office of Dharamshala area, under the guidance of the CTA’s election commission.

Five staff members, including the president and vice president of the organization took part in the election duty to contribute to a successful preliminary voting day of the 2021 Tibetan General Elections at Yongling area in Dharamshala, the seat of the exile Tibetan government. The voting started from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (local time). Along with representatives from various other non-governmental organizations, our staff members carried out various responsibilities in different functions of the election. The organization is elated to have been able to contribute to the successful voting day at the locality.
